The last remnants of snow linger in the shadows on the lower peaks, but the honey bees are out and busy. Bright sunshine, a high of 70F with a cooling breeze. The warmest day of spring so far.

how does one explore country life “like an urbanite?”
Good question. I was an urbanite when moved here – a city girl born and bred and, the longer I live here, the more I feel the city-ness draining out of me. I need a new tagline.
You do not need a new tag line! If one is wondering how one explores city life like an urbanite, all one needs to do is tear through the prolific body of work on this website. There, one will get the writer’s take on the transition from city to country life. This transition is one of constant discovery and adaptation. Sometimes in the country, one has to go out in search OF….instead of having constant stimulation that is city life. This is called exploring. And Upstate Dispatch shares these discoveries, found while exploring, on a daily basis. For free. So anyone can explore the Catskills, including city folk.
Why thanks for the kind comment, Rebecca! It’s useful to get a new perspective.
